Welcome to the Central Regional Cancer Program’s Mammothon Site! Mammothon is taking place May 14 – 18, 2018. Find the closest location to you on the participating sites page.

Women 50 to 74 should be screened for breast cancer every two years with a  mammogram. Women who have not had their mammogram within the last two years  are encouraged to get up to date by participating in Mammothon.

To participate you must be an Ontario resident with no history of breast cancer. A doctors’ referral is not required. Breast cancer is the most common cancer in Ontario, with one in eight women expected to be diagnosed with the disease in their lifetime. Regular screening can find breast cancers when they are small, less likely to have spread and more likely to be treated successfully.
